It is with great regret that we have to announce that Julesgems LTD, and therefore the Big Bead Shop, have ceased trading.

Everybody loves Swarovski Crystal and here at The Big Bead Shop we’re no exception.

These glorious crystals, now sold under their new brand name of CRYSTALLIZED ™ - Swarovski Elements, are a really sparkling addition to any jewellery item which is why why the Big Bead Shop (and our parent company Julesgems LTD) have one of the largest selections of Swarovski Crystal in the country.

So, with nearly 1500 Swarovski Crystal products where do you begin? Well, to help you out we have produced this concise list of the different colours that are available. Plus of course all the items you see on Julesgems.com are available to purchase in The Big Bead Shop too!

The Big Bead Shop gets star treatment  from Machynlleth based film company, Silverspoon Films.

We’re thrilled with the results of the hard work everyone put in on Wednesday this week, especially by the film company and it’s director, Richard Gott.  We’ve got a great video which, in 60 seconds, shows you pretty much what we’re all about here at The Big Bead Shop.

This Wednesday the 17th September, we’re doing something a little special at The Big Bead Shop - Shrewsbury and we’d like you to take part.

The best bit about it is that not only will it not cost a penny, but you could make big savings with our one day only discount offer.

So, what are we up to?

Well we’ve teamed up with SilverSpoonFilms to create their very first ‘SIXTIES’. Essentially a 60 second, packed video representation of what The Big Bead Shop is all about, and we need your help. We need as many people as possible in the shop on Wednesday morning between 10am and 1pm to feature in the filming.

Now don’t worry, there’s no sound involved and none of the shots will be very long. There will be free demonstrations going on which we want you to get involved in, and if you have any old jewellery you want to bring and get recycled into something new, then that would be fantastic!

For taking part in this exciting venture, we will give you a whopping 15% Discount off anything you purchase on the day as our thank you for joining in.

Where will the video be shown?

Well, the video will get shown on our BigBeadShop.com website to illustrate to other potential customers all the things they can expect from our lovely new shop.

The Big Bead Shop - Shrewsbury is finally opening it’s doors on Saturday 6th September 2008 at 10am.

The Mayor of Shrewsbury & Atcham will be officially opening the shop for us at 10am, with ribbons and scissors and drinks and nibbles and a prize draw on the day.

Plus you’ll get to see all the hard work we’ve put into making this the best bead shop around, with over 3500 beads and jewellery making products on show.

Dozens of jewellery classes are available to book online now, or receive a 10% Discount on class bookings if you book at the opening event.

So, come along and see us.
